To explain I had a friend have his removed, it was a emergency one because he had a attack.
When they took it out they knicked his bowel & didn't know it. Sewed him back up that way & it darn near killed him & he was in great shape (military shape)
It had him down for almost 3 years.
And that's why I didn't post in this thread until now because I was very worried.
That sounds awful, Scott. Three years for your friend to deal with the aftermath of a surgical screw-up is a long time! Hope he's doing well by now. But no need to worry about me. My situation wasn't as dire as your friend's although I did have a couple of people in the ER waiting room before I was admitted who told me several times "you don't look so good". I didn't feel so good either so I knew they weren't exaggerating. I've had blood work since my surgery and have seen my primary care doc and the surgeon in separate follow-up appointments and they both say I am doing well. I still have some soreness where they made the incision but that's to be expected for a couple of months.
