There are several side effects to having your gall bladder removed.. I have NONE of them, but I do have one issue I don't see very often.. I itch a lot - all over, not surgery scars or wounds or whatever.. Looking it up it seems I have a lot of bile salts in my blood because I have no gall bladder to filter them out.. So, I take cholostromine to help with that.. Cholostromine SUCKS.. Its like taking gritty Tang drink mix, except it tastes much worse and the grit completely sucks.. Hopefully you won't have that issue.. Please let me know if you do..

I had a gallstone at the same time I had a kidney stone.. That was 14 hours of trying to decide how I was gonna off myself.. Worse pain I've ever had and in TWO locations..
