Sounds like he was a pretty good guy

sounds like he and his wife owned a pretty large house with a large swimming pool , and would often have all the mouseketeers over for pool parties

sounds like he really liked the kids and the kids really liked him

although , like the kids , he wasn't really in the first 5 episodes very much

I wish there were full episodes of later seasons , just to compare , there are a bunch of clips on youtube , but it's not the same as they would all be out of context

the show only lasted like 3 or 4 years , so I had to look up why a show that was so popular was cancelled

Walt Disney wanted more money from ABC , which would have forced ABC to add even more commercials , it was an hour show , but like 15 minutes were just commercials

for years , the TV networks wanted to produce a Way Disney TV show , but Walt Disney had aways said no

but then when Walt Disney started building Disneyland , Walt Disney had gone broke , and had borrowed all the money he could get and ran out of options , so he gave in to ABC , and as the show gained popularity , Walt Disney wanted even more money , and ABC became less interested in the a children's TV show
