Back when I had NO Soloists, a local music store I practically grew up in, had a tie-dye Soloist that I was IN LOVE with.. it had been traded in and had hung on their wall over a year.. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, in this 2 horse town wanted that guitar.. I was that guitar's ONLY hope.. Reason being, this town is predominantly a country and western town and I doubt a country guitarist ANYWHERE has EVER been infatuated with a tie-dye guitar.. They were so eager to move that guitar they let me take it home for a week just to try it out..
..and try it out I did.. I took it back and the plan was to come back and get it in a few days after I got my pay check.. I wasn't worried cuz, like I said, that guitar had ZERO interest in a year..
So, I got my check and went back to get it and, unbelievably to any and everyone, it was gone.. a country guitarist from a town one tenth the size of this town bought it.. That store stayed open for another 25 years and I went back at least once a week to see if it ever came back.. It didn't.. I've never found another tie dye Soloist like it - even on the internet..
So, don't make THAT mistake.. If you make a mistake, make the mistake in which you end up WITH the guitar..! That is all..
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
