Aries, ya picked the wrong guy to answer this question lol..

As you know, I'm a HUGE Jackson guy.. I own 21 guitars, and without actually counting, I think 16 are Jacksons.. I have my two main stage guitars - both Randy Rhoads models, then decided to get another Rhoads - just in case - then ANOTHER Rhoads, ANOTHER... ANOTHER... ANOTHER.. and even ANOTHER.. All, just in case.. The last two I've never even played, but man, they are beautiful guitars..

I also have a thing for Jackson Soloists - the Stratocaster style guitars.. I use Strat bodied Jackson Soloists for recording because the Rhoads models are FAT sounding for stage in a one guitar band, and the Soloists are a bit more defined for recordng.. So, I actually was using a Charvel Predator (Strat body) for recording, but the wood split on the Wang bar posts, so it wouldn't stay in tune.. I DID get that fixed, but not before:

I got one Soloist because it was a custom flames model hand signed by the artist and was just beautiful.. But I didn't wanna use it for recording, so I got a custom swirl finish Soloist for the studio.. Mere minutes after buying that, I saw an absolutely incredible looking Soloist with sort of an ocean beach type finish (not painted - its gorgeous) and HAD to have it.. So, within two weeks I already had THREE Soloists.. One of my Rhoads models is lime green and I then just happened to find a lime green Soloist, so I HAD to get it so I'd have the set.. Two weeks after that I saw a mirror finish Soloist with a mirror finished inverted headstock..Oh Lord it was FABULOUS, so had to get that one, as well..

After that I swore no more guitars.. At that point I inherited my brothers '54 Strat reissue and his FrankenStrat (not the Eddie model) that was a '50's Strat all pieced together with '50's Strat parts.. So... I was DONE accumulating guitars.. DONE!

Then... about two months ago, I found a Rhoads model with a mirror finish and inverted mirror headstock.. ..and IMMEDIATELY I used my tried and tested "gotta have the set" philosophy since I had the mirrored Soloist.. I have NOT ordered the mirrored Rhoads model yet, but resistance is futile, ya know?

I haven't even mentioned my Gibson Les Paul Custom, black Flying V (beautiful guitar) or Explorer, a custom Ibanez Matt somebody or other model that a guy online just GAVE ME, or the acrylic BC Rich Mockingbird.. I haven't mentioned any of those cuz I never touch them - except the V.. I DO love the V..

Ok, so why did I bring all this up? Cuz, brother, you can ALWAYS find a way to justify another guitar.. If you've always had a love for PRS guitars, you should probably scratch that itch and get it.. Life is short and that guitar is ALWAYS going to appreciate in value, as long as you take care of it - and I know you will..

Just don't fall into that "Holy crap! I just found another guitar that I cannot live without!" Cuz there's ALWAYS another guitar thats gonna show up that you fall in love with and you'll ALWAYS find a way to justify it - even if its just an investment.. But, if you REALLY love that PRS and its a good deal, I'd say go for it, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't let buying guitars become an addiction, like I did.. Cuz you know what happens then? You hafta buy a bigger house to accommodate them, and you may end up divorced, like me.. Just kidding, brother.. but, let me know what you decide to do...
