I know better than to ask this because I know what you're going to say. And it's probably not the correct answer, but it might be the right answer...

I have always admired Paul Reed Smith guitars since I saw my first one probably in the early '80s. They're expensive, and I never had the money for one. I did buy a used PRS SE 3-4 years ago, which is nice but... they're made in Indonesia so it's the "budget line". I guess every American company has those, Taylor and Martin have models made in Mexico. I've never really considered them "real" Taylors, Martins, PRS... I guess I'm kind of a guitar snob.

My favorite music store has a used Paul Reed Smith 513 that is 12 years old, but looks like new. They don't make this model anymore. I don't need it. I can't justify it. It won't get played that much. Frankly IF I got a chance to play publicly, I'd use another guitar. But $2900 is a little south of what I'm seeing them for online.
The question: Should I buy it?

It's very similar to this one. [

This is a pic I snapped of the actual guitar.
