Playing music for a crowd....

My band retired a couple of years ago? I forget how long ago. Not that long ago. From 1964 until a couple of years ago I was in a band - playing for people wherever - community halls, cow pastures, hay barns, corrals, backyards, bars, some pretty major concert venues.... etc etc etc. But one thing I never did, (got to do), was:

What our friend sstRams did in ALL his performances (I think).... play with flashing lights, pyrotechnics, you know... a 'show'.

Oh we dabbled with a little performance.... once our rhythm guitar player bought a small smoke making machine which caught on fire the first time we used it so that ended that.

When we opened in Oregon for Trace Adkin and Sawyer Brown they had the stage rigged for an amazing light show.... didn't turn on a single bulb for us. .

Nope... I'll never experience was sstRams did..... BUT.... I'd bet we had just as many pretty women in attendance.
