I have a 7.5 ft artificial tree that I put up every year and decorate myself. It takes me 5-6 days to string the lights, and then another 1-2 days to add all the ornaments. I don't have the stamina to get it done any faster than that. The rule in my house is that no one touches my Christmas tree decorations but me so it takes me a while to get it done. I used to decorate the inside and outside of my house with garland, wreaths, large bows & ribbons, and lights but I don't do that anymore. It just got to be too much. I'm satisfied these days with just my decorated tree and a wreath on the front door.
