If I drown it in whipped creme I can tolerate it, but if there's anything else I'll go that route.

Goose? There's only one good way to cook it, get a ceder board, put whatever you like to season it with, cook at 325 for 30 minutes, take it out of the oven & throw away the goose & eat the board.
