Re: Winter Storm for Thanksgiving day

We didn't get snow on Thanksgiving Day, but I woke up this morning to 6" which happened overnight. I was expecting a couple of inches sometime today but thought it'd be coming towards the evening and probably wouldn't last long. I had an appointment this morning about a 30 minute drive away and I cancelled it.
A lady on local news said it normally takes her 10 min to drive to work and this morning around 4:30-5:00 am it took her 40 minutes. We live on a hill and I can see that no plows have come through our neighborhood yet. No telling if I could make it down the hill and back. The older I get, the less I like driving in inclement weather. I'm gonna play it safe and stay home.
