Re: Buddy Holly's crash sight

When I first started using Google Earth that crash site was one of the first I looked up. It was hard to find back then.... today the waypoint is marked, (if you have that layer turned on).

The on site memorial has built up considerably since back then. Hard to believe they actually took off in that weather, especially with a 22yr old pilot!
