Victory in our first playoff game! We were ranked #10 and our opponent was #7... so a mild upset. BUT.....
While it looked like it was going to be a shootout - - - 20-20 at the half... their QB, (VERY good Quarterback), went down with a broken collar bone right at the end of the half. 2nd half we dominated. Had their QB stayed in it would have been close... they had a nearly unstoppable WR.
Victory came with pain! They should call them "Bob Mathias Scars"... all my grandsons have one, or several, from playing on that field. The field is sand paper!
Next up we face the #2 ranked team. - JamesJM
