I like “favorites” list, and I’m on board with you on candy bars.
But no Rice Krispies, marshmallows or s’mores??? Yikes!
None of those would be my favorites, but if someone’s offering, I wouldn’t say no.
I tend to think of my favorite desserts in terms of where they come from, because I’m actually a picky dessert eater. Definitely not a picky eater in general, though lol.

Celebration cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory
Peach pie/cobbler
BlackBerry pie/cobbler
Apple pie
Frozen custard (Andy’s frozen custard is fantastic)
Ice cream
Gelato
Donuts
Cookies (chocolate chip, white chip-macadamia, sugar, and all varieties of Christmas cookies my sister makes)
Ok, so only the first two and last are very specific, but the others I listed I will try at most places, restaurants or otherwise.
I actually enjoy most fruit pies, and I probably could’ve added pastries because they’re usually what I’ll order if I go to a bakery.
Don’t care for a lot of cakes because I don’t care for icing (very particular). Used to flip my cake upside down and leave the icing.
