Great game, BTW... OT win for Oregon who I was rooting for. But a question...
Last half of the 4th.... maybe more than that... Penn had ALL the momentum and I can't stress that too much. When I say "ALL" the momentum I mean total dominance. Came back to score a TD with little time left in regulating and one point down before the EP.... which they kicked and tied the game sending it into overtime.
The question? I was surprised, make that VERY surprised, that Penn did not go for 2 on the EP to pretty much seal the victory in regulation. Keep in mind... they had ALL the momentum... complete dominance, imposing their will.... (at that time).
What would you have done? I would have gone for 2 if I coached Penn St. I don't think one choice 'supremely' better than the other BUT... I wouldn't have thought twice about going for 2.
