Think I've mentioned this. I practiced with The Association a few times. I was good friends with the lead singer of another group, The Roadrunners, and he was friends with one of the members of The Association... can't remember who. And just to note: I did NOT audition with The Association... it was just a couple jam session. I'm guessing their drummer couldn't make it.
I do remember that they were putting together the song "Cherish" at the time. Cherish came out in '66 so I'm guessing this was '65... I know I was in HS and I didn't even start playing drums until I was a Junior. I graduated in '66. - JamesJM
