Jerry Lewis , one of the things I hate about growing up

I only watched a little bit of that telethon

but I did watch a couple of Jerry Lewis movies

Labor Day just isn't the same without Jerry Lewis

when I was a kid , my aunt and uncles would come down and spend the weekend with us , and they had kids our age

the adults got the bedrooms , all us kids camped out in the living room , and the telethon was always on

and also

Jerry Lewis movies were always on late night

so when I was a kid , Jerry Lewis was like my hero , my idol

back before there was goggle and youtube

but then as I got older , you started hearing more about what a jerk Jerry Lewis was in real life , and you no longer saw jerry Lewis through those rose covered glasses

and don't get me wrong , I'm still a big Jerry Lewis fan , but I miss those days when you saw everything through rose covered glasses
