Watched it last night. I had never heard of it. "Call Northside 777". It stars Jimmy Stewart and some others you'll recognize, if not know their names, if you've ever watched any old movies.
It's based on a true story and again... not a story I had ever heard of. I thought it was acted extremely well by Stewart (like always) and found his character quite.... hmmmm, unlike most 'heros' portrayed in old movies. Stewarts character, (a newspaper reporter), is very flawed. Biased. At times down right rude IMHO.... although the characters he's playing off of never seem to take him that way.
It's free on YouTube.... and like I said - I think it's VERY well done. The story, being true, is fascinating..... but a warning, a big one. It moves EXTREMELY slowly. I get why... and think it works "Artisicially".... but if you're just sitting back trying to be entertained you could pull your hair out.
