I’ve watched it several times. And the first thing that popped into my head was Nisson’s song… and now I have to listen to it.

Again… like music, this is also a great era for movies.
I think you can take the top 10 movies from the 70’s (69 in this case) and the top 10 from 2000 to 2025 and there will be maybe one or two from that 25 year span that would find company in the top 10 from the 70’s but I doubt it. Not for me anyway. As much as I like No Country for Old Men, I think it barely cracks the 70’s top 10.
Add in the 80’s and 90’s and I doubt any movie from the last 25 years can compete with that 30 year stretch.
