Owls , for those of you who are creatures of the night

I had one scare the crap out of me the one day
was out walking the dog , and we just got home , came up the alley behind our garage , and I was just standing there as the dog was stiff around , and I looked up , and there was a owl like 3 feet right in front of my face , sitting on a tree branch just staring at me , so close I could have touched it
kinda surprised with both me , and the dog , it never moved
OK , we are just going to back up slowly.......................lol
I mean , I see owls all the time , just not 3 feet in front of your face when you're not paying attention
