Days of Thunder was mildly amusing to me but no where a top auto racing film
Hard to beat Gran Prix... I won't try, but there are a few I liked nearly as much if not as much.
As I mentioned I thought Ford vs Ferrari was outstanding. I liked Winning with Paul Newman. Le Mans with Steve McQueen another I liked a lot.

The Worlds Fastest Indian (not sure you'd count this one but I do)
And then there are several documentaries I loved. Senna probably the most. - JamesJM
