I just thought, at the time, it was just "some spider". All I got was a circular red spot that turned to a rash. When I was in the USAF, I was stationed with a girl who said when she got bit on her arm, watching the venom work was like model glue on a styrofoam cooler. She said she could almost see her flesh deteriorate. They had to gouge a large chunk of meat from her forearm. She had a helluva scar. When I was on the Fire Dept, we went to a 16 year old girl who had a hole in her leg the diameter of a quarter and at least an inch deep on her upper leg. We tell her...THAT'S a Brown Recluse bite! Her Mom then shows us under her bandage the most gawd AWFUL wound I have ever seen from a bite. I told them to get the hell out of that Trailer and DEMAND the Land Lord take action. We even notified LEO to assure it was done.
