Re: Anyone remember staying at those old small town hotels

I live on Rt. 40 in Illinois, for those that don't know it's the road that I-70 took it's place, there were all sorts of hotels, gas stations, & rest areas on it, but 95% + are tore down now.
Not sure but I think it use to almost go across the US.
