There was a scare that he might have a fatal brain disease, Leukodystrophy. That was a LOOOOOOOONG 33 days wait to get the all clear. My youngest also has a genetic issue with his eyes, where he has minimal to zero horizontal eye movement. He has always been self conscious about that. It slowed down his development in School. Had to hold him back two years. As a teen, I was concerned that he was maybe TOO aloof. But not long after he Graduated, BAM! He has really taken off. His work ethic is crazy. We just had lunch today and I was so proud to hear him initiate conversation about his job. It really blew me away when he was bringing up Management points of view. I REALLY felt 10 feet tall when I got word through the Grape Vine that his Manager said he has a heart of gold. I feel so blessed that he has his health and is a valued employee of a large Grocer in the State.
