Soccer crowds never calm down during matches. They may get a little less boisterous at times but they are never less than hysterical. The most mundane occurrences on the field can send them into hysterical spasms. "HE THREW THE BALL BACK INBOUNDS WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" And it's not just the fans.. most of the announcers are like that as well.
But I'm not going to complain. After suffering thru that non-stop Vuvuzela blasting during that World Cup in Africa I can handle pretty much anything.
