Watching the Rams win 14 to 12 in the 76 Playoffs at Dallas......and the VERY cool jerseys won me over. But yeah, I look back at those old Cowboys teams with some respect. Tom Landry is one of my all time favorite Coaches in ANY sport. Guy was 100% class. In the 80s...NBA...I HATED HATED HATED Boston. But now look back at those Boston teams fondly. I was bummed when Dennis Johnson passed away. I think it's because those old Dallas teams and Celtics....Both were era when there was a TRUE rivalry because Players stuck around for more than 2 years...OR LESS. These days, it's just the name of the team that is the rivalry. When I was a kid, year after year after year, I WANTED to beat Staubach / Dorsett/ Randy White etc. These days, I could not tell you the name of ONE Defensive player on Dallas.
