My son is a Swiftie to his little 8-year old bones. He wanted to see Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour in the worse way. No friggin' way was that ever gonna happen. However, there's a Taylorville Tribute band where the lead singer dresses like Taylor Swift and does all her songs. I think there's more than one Tribute band and they travel around the country giving concerts. People like us go because we can't afford tickets to the real deal. Anyhow, as a Christmas present I bought 2 tickets for my daughter and grandson to go to see the Taylor Tribute band in April... and the tickets were $600. I mean... geez... it's not even the real Taylor Swift and look how expensive that is! I think $600 is pretty steep to see a Taylor Swift knockoff but apparently that's what it is these days. I've priced tickets for various singers in concert in St Louis over the past year and the prices are just ridiculous.
