I think we are facing the new norm now. So sad. Some day maybe we will all wake up.
Your right about down here. I have way too many heavy coats. Bad habit of mine is to order on line (Amazon) late at night after more than one scotch. Seriously though, when grand kids were racing we were always up in cold weather-sometimes really cold. Yeah, I know one should do right. The very first one I bought was a Patagonia jacket with another jacket inside. The outer jacket is waterproof. Going to Iceland most people went out and bought new coats. Me-I had a department store of them. So I unzipped the Patagonia inner Jacket (too restrictive) and just wore the outer waterproof jacket over two layer of sweaters. With gloves and wool cap I was warmer than anyone on the trip. Know anyone that needs some really good and expensive winter jackets-my department store is open.
