I still want to see my Son get JUST 4 years in the USAF. He will still have a great experience and make friends that are special. Even a year or two ago, my Son and I were chatting about the status of today's Military and if a career was a good idea. In the last 5 years, he has dealt with 5 Navy Recruiters and 1 USAF. The USAF guy seems ok and one of the Navy guys seemed ok. But overall, I did not sense the same Pride that my Recruiter had. DEFINITELY not the same enthusiasm. I was just telling my Wife that ONE Army Recruiter hounded me from the day I graduated High School. So help me, he even called my house AFTER I left for USAF Boot Camp. I thought it was funny , for years. Now?? I'd give ANYTHING if my Son could have had a Recruiter just half as Gung Ho.
