1970s were COLD here in Florida. January 1977, snow flurries fell just North of Miami. Not doubting it has been warmer and warmer lately but the Weather does waiver. I look at this year. In late Spring, they were talking about how warm the Atlantic Ocean was and that many powerful storms were likely. I went to Jax Beach as late as mid July and the water was VERY cold. 1990?? That water was VERY warm! I remember my Brother and I going to the beach on the 4th that year and it was literally warm bath water. It was telling that Spring because I was swimming comfortably at the beach in mid March. It's usually late April/ early May.
What I'm getting at is that there's not much we can do about it. During the Ice Age talk in the 70s, most large cities (L.A.!!) had chocolate milk for air. Cars were burning leaded fuel. I'm talking Cadillac's and LTDs! But yet we were getting colder??
