Got an interesting question for you. Who experiences more joy? The winner of the medal? The parent/grandparent of the winner? Spouse of the winner? Best friend of the winner?
Lot of possibilities and of course - - - - - "it depends".
But I'm 100% sure I'd experience the most possible joy by having one of my kids/grandkids, (great-grandkids when that happens), win more than me winning. No doubt about it.
Best friend? Nah.
Spouse? nah, she'd never let me live it down.
