The cost of going to the movies!

My 6-year old grandson loves Disney movies. And if it has a princess in it, even better. So, last Saturday my daughter and I decided to take him to see The Little Mermaid (we all loved it, by the way) at a noon showing. My daughter bought the movie tickets online and she said they were about $50! I about choked on my coffee. I said I'd pay for snacks. We bought a medium size buttered popcorn in a commemorative metal bucket, one cotton candy, a small soft drink, a medium soft drink and a bottled water. It was $42. So it cost us $90 for 2 adults and 1 small child to see a movie?!! Talk about an eye opener.
