I'm always surprised to hear..

when adult friends tell me they can't swim.. I'm like, that should be the number one thing you shoulda learned as a little kid.. And get THIS, Gator: you can now get scuba certified even if you don't know how to swim! Used to be you had to swim 20 lengths of a YMCA size pool and be able to tread water for 15 minutes in order to get certified.. They did away with those rules.. Honestly, tho, I have NO idea why someone who doesn't know how to swim would want to start diving.. Would love to be on the boat with them on their first open water dive in th emiddle of the ocean.. I HAVE seen people say, "screw it, I'm not going" before.. Its sad and funny at the same time..
