They used to have an Ice Rink there...

maybe they still do? My son played Ice Hockey there many times.

There was also an ice rink in Belmont... little further north of Redwood City and I believe Brian Boitano's home ice.... another in Dublin east of the Bay area but very close... and then the granddaddy of them all in Berkeley across the bay.

At one time the rink in Berkeley was the biggest indoor ice rink in the world. It was exhausting for the hockey players because of the length and width they had to skate.
