After they won the World Series in 1997 and 2003.....After BOTH seasons, they waited till RIGHT after Season Tickets were sold and THEN had Player fire sales. 1997 was the worst. I mean they traded / released EVERYONE and then could not beat a High School team in 1998. They pulled that B.S. when fan fever was high and fans filled Joe Robbie Stadium (NOT the best for Baseball). They were still catching flak for that move when they did it AGAIN in 2004???????? They have not recovered since. It's why I spread the word to NOT blame the fans for almost NOBODY going to Marlins games.
