Listening to MLB radio this morning and the commentators mentioned they had never heard Cardinal fans boo the home team.

Cardinals fans have never booed their own team before. But they did last night. The boos were frequent, loud, and long.... especially in the 8th and 9th innings when you could just smell another "L" coming. Fans are beside themselves and they're letting the team know it. I know Frank and I are!!
We have never seen the Cardinals play so badly for such a long period of time in a season. The head scratcher is that there doesn't appear to be an end in sight. It's not like there's no talent on the team, there is... but they can't seem to get it together and get in sync to win a game. One of our big problems is that our pitching sucks. It's been going downhill for a few years now.

This is Ollie Marmol's second year as the Cardinals manager. Last year was wonderful and he got all kinds of accoladates... but we also had Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina still with us and I'm wondering whether they shouldered a lot of stuff themselves and helped him out just because it's their nature. Now they're gone and he's got to handle it all without them. I don't know that for a fact but it sure makes me wonder. Something's gotta give or I think heads are gonna roll.
