I can't eat the quantity of food I used to either. Frank and I were bemoaning that fact just the other day. I can eat ONE plate of food and even then, the plate can't be piled high because I just can't eat it all. When I sit down to Christmas dinner... I can't eat more than one helping of the foods on the table. I'd love to go back for seconds just because the food tastes good so I want to enjoy more of it, but my GI system just can't handle it. Back in the day, I used to be able to order and eat 5-6 items from Taco Bell. Nowadays, it's more like 2-3 items. Any more than that and I'm in the fetal position for the rest of the night. I love chicken wings but I can only eat 3-4 in a meal. I ordered a large concrete from Ted Drewes not long ago (it's a super dooper thick milkshake... very famous in this neck of the woods) and after I drank half of it, I was full. I struggled to finish it. I hadn't eaten a burger or anything else, either. I've learned the hard way that if I try and eat like I did when I was in my 30's and 40's, it just results in suffering on my part and it ain't worth it. On the other hand, it means I have a lot more leftovers and extra meals and I don't mind that so it's all good.

If you don't have one, GET a Fit Bit watch that counts steps.
