doing small tavern/bars in college towns.....in Greensboro NC, played in a building at the time served up beers and snacks that was later turned into computer science annex, then torn down...4 Wheel Drive.....who didn't have that going in the old 8 track..... from Guess Who to BTO.......
It's something when a guy goes from a band as big as the Guess Who was and goes right into an even bigger monster with BTO.......for a time those guys couldn't miss......ended up in places like where I saw them.....glad I did though.....Same with Edgar Winter saw him play in a kinda dumpy bar in Princeton WV......maybe had 200 people there.....sad, but again I was glad to see him.
