except you had to drive to the nearest ticket broker office or find the scalpers outside the parking lot....
all ticket master has done is make it more convenient and charge both the buyer and the seller.... a ticket you buy on any of those sites for say $100, the seller got $65...they listed it at $82, but the buyer then pays the stupid fees and now its $100....and the more expensive the ticket the more they make. It is quite the racket.
capitalism mixed with supply and demand....you couldn't give Jag tickets away last year....now all the sudden everyone wants back on the bandwagon, until people stop paying those prices, they will continue to be those prices
It won't stop until the NFL does something about it, which they could probably already have done something about... They could make it harder to transfer tickets like only be able to transfer one hour before the game and also track the season ticket holders who abuse it and sell over 50% of their tickets
