He is an interesting prospect.....1st He came close to ending his career at the start of this season with blood clots found in his arm....it cleared up and he started the season like a fire cracker....he tailed off at the end of the season throwing a lot of picks ( for a guy who threw very few up till then).
The offense he runs is the oddest thing out there. They call it a slow mesh offense. He literally holds the ball and walks toward the line with his RB and makes his decision to hand off or throw as they move forward. So he is moving toward the line usually on his pass attempts, not stepping backward as is the norm. It works most of the time, even when pressure is put towards the center of his line. For a guy who walks toward the line so much his pass knockdowns are not that much, he finds a passing lane....he's only a shade over 6'.
IMO he has a very good line and that's why this system works, he also has an unusually good WR group and an above average TE...most of his receivers are 6'1 and taller, even there red shirt freshmen WR are 6'2....
He's smart, has a good enough arm, but his system is so odd I wonder how long it would take for him to adjust, also he won't go to a team in the pros so rich in targets....I like him, he's a tough nut to crack and works hard, he can use his legs but isn't like so many others coming out now a days.
