I actually don't get the love for Perkins over the Wolf. The Wolf has been the main backup QB for both our high priced starters. Perkins has enough intriguing athletic traits to keep on as a 3rd. Last week, Stafford was out with concussion protocol and the Wolf had a bad neck so they let Perk start. It's not like he suddenly passed anybody on the depth chart.
McV must see something good in the Wolf to have him there year after year. This will be his 3rd career start. Maybe he plays well.
I think Rams can and should do better at backup QB. McVay has played Russian roulette one season too long. And just keep one backup QB while saving that other roster position for another promising player.
