if they went 8-9 that would be easier to eat then 3-14. If it was because we had over whelming injuries or if we had a quick downfall of talent (without injury). Those kind of things would come into my factor of how many years would it be worth to have after a SB win.
I could go 2-3 seasons of 8-9, but only 1 year of 3-14 type years....I could go 1 or 2 years if it was mainly due to injuries of players who have some years of prime/close to prime years. I would have no choice in how many years of losing if we were actually drained of most talent....in that case I would just be happy with the SB win and have no choice but go along with a total rebuild.
