up to this point. Now with just a shell of a team, how the team plays is just less important to me.
Buffalo was concerning but not alarming because there was a SB hangover and lack of preseason reps. So, OK the first few games are their preseason... But more injuries and no running threat. Without Stafford the Rams don't have much in the way of a QB, as far as I know. And without a starting caliber QB and a staring caliber OL and a starting caliber RB, I think that makes for a difficult season.
Dice roll - Akers - Fail
Dice roll - Noteboom - Fail (even if healthy)
Dice roll - overall OL capability (even if healthy) probably fail... but with little depth ultimately fail
Dice roll - WR3 - fail ...WR depth somehow fail
So I think it's clear that the season was doomed but we had to watch it to actually see it happen. But when the injuries started and continued, then it just became ridiculous.
The worst part is getting Kupp and Stafford hurt. Nothing you can really do about it because if they are healthy, they play... just sucks.
Going to see the Rams play on Dec. 8th. Basically a preseason game. $500 to see a stadium... painful in multiple ways. The worst part is I can't psych myself up to go. I wish I could but it reminds me of when I watched TJ Rubley against Arizona... or the Jeff Fisher teams in Baltimore and Washington... just not real football.
