When the losses surmount the devastation that could be caused by a real injury to a legacy player?
You find a way to shut them down

And then we have guys who claim they're hurt.
It's a way to avoid getting damaged in an inconsequential season.

Sure, a number of players have escalators in their contracts that they are playing for, but look
all those accelerators have evaporated

Make the playoffs
Make the probowl
Set club season records at your position.
All these and more just aren't a quotient in the math being done now.

I wouldn't risk AD for anything like another win this season
And, I'm sure we'll see more "injuries" as we head in to the final month
