Yeah, was I seeing some arm strength of a couple of throws? Was her guiding the ball, holding back on other throws? His easy lobs to RB's were TOO easy. He took too much off of them. Same with that sideline throw to a wide-open receiver. I saw more zip on the TD throw. What I THINK that tells me is that more zip is there, not what I'd want in a starter but enjough if playing within his limits as a backup.
After pondering the graphics of his neck injury, I wonder what his body has left - whether he can be coached to throw harder or he's hit a physical ceiling.
I'll write him off when he shows that he can't.
