I don't think so but I don't have the data to day definitively. I would assume that losing makes it more likely that players won't stick their neck out and hurt themselves. Like if you're losing then you might as well think more about yourself in your long-term health as opposed to if you're a legitimate contender. I also feel like you're more likely to play through an injury if your team is contending. So maybe some guys who have nagging injuries just sit it out when their team is losing. I think wins and losses are more correlated to injury than the vice versa. And quite frankly I think injuries in a sport where people are mashing their bodies together just comes down to luck. We were incredibly healthy for 5 years in a row. How did we do that? Some of it was probably our ability to manage. But we have the exact same staff and now everybody's dropping like flies.
