Do injuries coincide with losing more than just the obvious?

November 26, 2022 04:30AM
Where injuries are a reason/cause for the losing. Remember when Isaac always seemed to have hammy problems....then they start winning, boom never has hammy issues again. Are a players injuries magnified to some degree when a team is losing, mentally do the injuries occur more often when on a losing team?

Are these lineman injuries due to players not doing fundamentally correct movements? Are they late on a drive block or passing stance and over react and strain themselves trying to react to the poor fundamentals? Are they not thinking quick enough or alert enough and so they get ankles rolled up on for instance.

When on a losing team do players lose enough interest so that they put themselves in awkward positions and become more prone to an injury? (Like my rolled up ankle example above).

Some guys are just naturally susceptible of course, due to several injuries on the same spot for years going to college or before, I'm not considering them in these questions.
