They needed a legit NFL qb and he was that and more. He can't drag you across the finish line like the some can - Stafford, etc, but if you put a good, balanced team around him he can take you far. I think if we had had a healthy Gurley in the superbowl we would have won. Goff wilted under the pressure when the ground game stalled out. I do wish him well now. It's more fun to watch him succeed in Detroit than to worry about him week in and week out here.
I agree. With a healthy Gurley the rams win this close game IMHO. And dont forget we were without Kupp too.
Even if he was not the Kupp we know now he still was a valuable part of the 2018 team.
