... to an afternoon with close friends for our annual get-together this day to give thanks with grateful and humble hearts for what we are blessed with, stuff ourselves on another smoked turkey that my friend Jim has spent a day-and-a-half preparing, all the over-the-top dishes our wives prepare, maybe some elk meat sausage and other wild game goodies to snack on, and then fall into a round of involuntary naps induced by all that tryptophan-laced white meat and gravy, I want to say thanks to this board and the banter between us that holds the football discussions together.

Between the lines I read bits and pieces of who you are - I feel that I'm among friends here. I've learned from you and hope I've at least contributed my share.
