His play against 2s in the preseason stood out ... especially contested catches. That's why we didn't let him go.
But it doesn't mean he knows the sight reads pre snap well enough. He needs reps, hopefully with Robinsons taking it easy he'll take his in practice.
then what does that say about our coaching staff? How long have they had to work with this kid? And Tutu tootoo?
If what you say is true, what have they been doing with him all year?
Maybe it's a "mental" thing and he just isn't learning what he needs to know?
Either way, I would hope they would have been putting in a little extra work to get him and Tutu up to speed to be able to contribute more.
It does make you wonder if the coaching they are getting is the reason these guys haven't been playing more when our offense has been SCREAMING for playmakers or if we have players who are "slow learners".
I think we all agree that McCutcheon and Tutu should have been getting more snaps than they have. I honestly can say I don't know why.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
