The way Stafford's wife went viral with all her comments that her husband was in concussion protocal and she thinks he's still hurt.....She put the Rams in a real tough spot.
Problem.....Rams OLINE .....Put Stafford back in when the OLINE is back together....I know Stafford wants to play and show the Rams he's a leader, but he's getting pounded in that pocket and the injuries keep piling up on that OLINE. There's no end in sight for that OLINE to be back healthy. If Stafford gets SERIOUSLY HURT, then his wife will come unglued and there will be hell to pay. So, IR Stafford for a while and throw Wolford/Perkins out there and let's see what they can do.
Remember, Stafford threw that TD to Tuto, not Wolford or Perkins.....Stafford is a stud QB in the NFL....Wolford/Perkins are nowhere near that level.
IMHO.....As truthful as I can be.....They both are backups for a reason.....It's pretty obvious on game days against #1's on defense....They might, and I emphasize MIGHT get you through 1-2 games in case of injury to starting QB, but there's zero % chance they can carry you through a long stretch and playoffs.
It's a tough situation the Rams are in, but it's clear as day that without an OLINE your offense suffers. Keep your cornerstone players healthy and avoid injuries to them.....Simple.
